The RF-15.64 is a passive/active two-way system for fixed or portable sound reinforcement systems. An internal crossover network with rear located mode selector switch varies the operational mode. A 15H low frequency transducer with 4 in. voice coil handles bass reproduction. High frequencies are handled by the M-10N compression driver with neodymium magnet structure and 3 in. voice coil which is attached to a 60° x 40° rotatable horn. A standard pole-mount socket permits tripod mounting and two steel-reinforced handles facilitate handling. 12 M10 rigging points and an extensive range of mounting accessories allows for use in permanent installations.

This passive full-range, two-way system comprises a single 15 inch cone woofer with a four inch voice coil. The high frequency section comprises a medium format compression driver with a three inch titanium diaphragm and neodymium magnet, coupled to a 60° x 40° rotatable horn. It comprises an injection molded aluminum chassis. It includes a transformer to select passive or bi-amplified mode and a tripod socket. Accessories include an "L" bracket for fixed installations, an array frame for creating two and three unit clusters and a truss mounting bracket.

A typical production unit has the following specifications:

Average (RMS) power handling (based on a two-hour test using a 6 dB crest factor pink noise signal band-limited according to IEC standards) is rated at 600 W (passive mode), LF: 600W and HF: 100W (bi-amplified mode). On-axis (IEC) frequency range is 45 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). On-axis sensitivity (1W /1m) is 98 dB SPL in LF and 99 dB SPL in HF. Coverage angles are 60 degrees horizontal and 40 degrees vertical (average one-third octave band of 500 Hz to 8 kHz). Nominal impedance is 8 ohms for LF and HF.

The subwoofer unit is mounted in direct radiation configuration inside a bass-reflex trapezoidal cabinet using 18mm Birch plywood. The unit is painted black. The front is protected by a steel grille, coated with a corrosion-resistant polyamide film. The system includes 12 M10 rigging points situated on the top, underneath and on either side of the enclosure. Two handles are also provided.

The system shall be a D.A.S. RF-15.64 system.
