2-way passive full range loudspeaker system which incorporates a 15" low frequency transducer and a 1" throat compression driver with titanium diaphragm. The asymetric cabinet is constructed of Complex Aggregate Board and finished with a hard-wearing grey carpet. Two bar handles and a steel grille sealed against corrosion using a polyamide powder coat finish are provided. A 35 mm tripod socket allows for stand mounting.

The 2-way passive full range loudspeaker shall incorporate a 15 inch cone low frequency transducer and a 1 inch throat compression driver mounted to a constant directivity horn. The frame of the low frequency speaker shall be manufactured of die-cast aluminium. The low frequency voice coil shall be 3 inches in diameter. The high frequency voice coil shall be 2 inches in diameter and the diaphragm shall be constructed of titanium.

The system specifications of a typical production unit shall be as follows: Average (RMS) power handling (based on a two hour test using an IEC band-limited 6 dB crest factor pink noise signal) shall be 350W. On-axis frequency range shall be of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. On-axis sensitivity (1W / 1m) shall be 100 dB SPL. Coverage angles shall be 100 degrees horizontal and 80 degrees vertical (average of 1/3rd octave bands from 500 to 8 kHz). Nominal impedance shall be 8 ohms.

The system‘s low frequency driver shall be mounted as direct radiator into a bass-reflex cabinet constructed of Complex Aggregate Board. The exterior finish shall be hardwearing grey carpet capable of acting as a moisture barrier. The cone loudspeaker shall be covered with a perforated steel grille, sealed against corrosion using a polyamide powder coat finish. Two bar handles shall be provided. A 35 mm tripod socket shall be provided.

The system shall be a D.A.S. PF-115.
