The MI-215 is a 2-way passive full range loudspeaker utilizes two 15" cone low frequency transducer and a 1" throat compression driver with titanium diaphragm. The trapezoidal cabinet is constructed of Complex Aggregate Board and finished with a hard-wearing black carpet. Two bar handles and a steel grille sealed against corrosion using a polyamide powder coat finish are provided.

The 2-way passive full range loudspeaker shall incorporate two 15 inch cone low frequency transducers and a 1 inch throat compression driver mounted to a constant directivity horn. The frame of the low frequency speakers shall be manufactured of die-cast aluminium. The low frequency voice coil shall be 2.5 inches in diameter. The high frequency voice coil shall be 2 inches in diameter and the diaphragm shall be constructed of titanium.

The system specifications of a typical production unit shall be as follows: Nominal Average (RMS) power handling shall be 500W. On-axis frequency range shall be of 50 Hz to 16 kHz. On-axis sensitivity (1W / 1m) shall be 102 dB SPL. Nominal impedance shall be 4 ohms.

The system’s low frequency driver shall be mounted as direct radiator into a bass-reflex cabinet constructed of Complex Aggregate Board. The exterior finish shall be hardwearing grey carpet. The front of the system shall be covered with a perforated steel grille, sealed against corrosion using a polyamide powder coat finish. Two bar handles shall be provided.
