The high frequency compression driver shall consist of a ferrite magnet structure. The voice coil shall be 4 inches in diameter and manufactured of flat aluminium wire, and bonded to a Kapton former. The throat shall be 1.5 inches in diameter.

The specifications of a typical production unit shall be as follows: Average (RMS) Power Handling (1kHz - 20 kHz) shall be 80W. On-axis sensitivity (2.83 V / 1m) shall be 105 dB SPL with a horn of Q=11.6. Nominal impedance shall be 8 ohms. DC resistance shall be 6 ohms.
