The low frequency voice coil shall be 1.5 inches in diameter. The high frequency voice coil shall be 1.75 inches in diameter and the diaphragm shall be constructed of titanium.
The system specifications of a typical production unit shall be as follows: Average (RMS) power handling (based on a two hour test using an IEC band-limited 6 dB crest factor pink noise signal) shall be 150W. IEC on-axis frequency range shall be of 60 Hz to 18 kHz. On-axis sensitivity (1W / 1m) shall be 93 dB SPL. Coverage angles shall be 95 degrees horizontal and 90 degrees vertical (average of 1/3rd octave bands from 500 to 8 kHz). Nominal impedance shall be 8 ohms.
The system’s low frequency driver shall be mounted as direct radiator into a bass-reflex cabinet constructed of polypropylene. Colour for the "W" version shall be white, otherwise colour shall be black. The front of the system shall be covered with a perforated steel grille, sealed against corrosion using a polyamide powder coat finish. A hand location shall be provided.
