Full range ceiling loudspeaker incorporates a 5.25 inch full-range double-cone transducer with a 1 inch voice coil and multi-tap line transformer. The system’s low frequency driver is mounted on a plastic support that houses mounting tabs for fixing to ceiling surfaces. The front of the system is protected by a perforated metal grille.

The full range ceiling loudspeaker shall incorporate a 5.25 inch full-range double-cone transducer. The voice coil shall be 1 inch in diameter.

The system specifications of a typical (transformer less) production unit shall be as follows: Average (RMS) power handling shall be 20W. Frequency range shall be of 70 Hz to 15 kHz. On-axis sensitivity (1W / 1m) shall be 89 dB SPL. Coverage angles shall be 110 degrees horizontal and vertical (average of 1/3rd octave bands from 500 to 8 kHz). Nominal impedance shall be 8 ohms.

The system’s low frequency driver shall be mounted on a plastic support that houses mounting tabs for fixing to ceiling surfaces. Colour shall be white. The front of the system shall be covered with a perforated metal grille. The system shall incorporate a 6W multi-tap input transformer with switch positions for power settings ranging from at least 6 to 1.5W in 3 dB steps for 70V lines.

The system shall be a D.A.S. CL-5T.
