The Artec 25T employs twin 5B woofers for low frequency reproduction. A 1 in. annular diaphragm compression driver provides brilliant highs. The birch plywood cabinet construction offers an ultra-compact design which is available in black or white. Precise coverage and control in either the horizontal and vertical position is possible thanks to the symmetrical 80° horn geometry. The cabinets can be permanently installed by way of the optional "U" brackets and accessories which allow for multiple configurations. Four threaded fixing points for the AXW-1 adjustable wall mount and two M8 threaded inserts for stand mounting augment adaptability. A robust steel grille internally lined with acoustically transparent filter cloth protects components.

This passive two-way system comprises two five inch woofers and its high frequency section includes a one inch annular diaphragm compression driver, coupled to an 80° x 80° symmetrical horn. It comprises a plated steel chassis and two M8 threaded points for tripod installation. Four M10 rigging points are provided for flying the system using rings or a "U" bracket can be used for fixed installations on ceilings or walls and four threaded M6 bolts for adjustable angle wall supports.

A typical production unit has the following specifications:

Average (RMS) power handling (based on a two-hour test using a 6 dB crest factor pink noise signal band-limited according to IEC standards) is rated at 150 W. On-axis (IEC) frequency range is 75 Hz to 22 kHz (-10 dB). On-axis sensitivity (1W / 1m) is 92 dB SPL. Coverage angles are 80 degrees horizontal and 80 degrees vertical (average one-third octave band of 500 Hz to 8 kHz), providing precise coverage in a horizontal or vertical position. Nominal impedance can be 8/16 ohms. The "T" version features a 50W/100V line transformer.

The subwoofer unit is mounted inside an ultra-compact cabinet using 15 mm Birch plywood. The front is protected by steel grille, lined inside with speaker cloth.

This system shall be a D.A.S. ARTEC-25 / ARTEC-25T system.
