The ANX-70 is a full-range loudspeaker system engineered to provide quality full-range sound projection in a variety of outdoor and indoor applications. Its wide range, enhanced mid range response and high efficiency ensure superb projection of clear intelligible speech. The speaker is supplied with an adjustable mounting bracket allowing for easy wall and ceiling installation. A 70 volt line transformer with three taps provides adjustable wattage setting.

* Multiply the number of speakers on each channel by 30 watts to obtain the optimum amplifier RMS wattage rating.
Example 1: 5 speakers per channel requires an amplifier rated at 150 watts per channel. If some speakers will be set to the 5 or 10 watt taps then the minimum necessary amplifier power will be less.
Example 2: 3 speakers at 30 watts, one speaker at 10 watts and 1 speaker at 5 watts would require an amplifier rated at 105 watts minimum per channel.
Amplifiers rated at significantly more than the minimum calculated power can be safely used so long as their line output is 70 volts. Do not use the ANX-70 on 100 volt line systems. In no case should the system volume be set to a level that produces distortion. Distortion typically occurs when an UNDERPOWERED amplifier is used. |
