The Aero 218A 2K is high performance, powered subwoofer unit designed to provide low frequency reinforcement for the Aero 38 and Aero 48 units. Four rear casters and eight steel reinforced bar handles facilitate loading and unloading.

Two 18GN cone transducers handle low frequency reproduction. These high power loudspeakers use a 4" (100 mm) edge-wound flat wire (EFW) voice coil and lightweight neodymium magnet assembly. The speakers feature the Total Air Flow (T.A.F.) cooling scheme which combines center pole piece, side slot and direct voice coil convection cooling for efficient heat evacuation.

Power for the loudspeakers is provided by two 1000 W class D amplifiers.
